Let's keep it real.
One of the first questions I like to ask my clients (especially ones with kids) after they book a session with me, is what some of their favorite things to do are. I ask this so that together, we can capture authentic moments and memories that will last a lifetime. Whether it’s blowing bubbles, eating pizza, or hiking, I want to photograph the unposed, authentic you. Capturing these memories and moments in time is a big part of why I love being a photographer. To me, the rawness of lifestyle photography makes the photographs so much more meaningful when you look back in your photo album 10, 20, or even 50 years from now. Plus, it doesn’t hurt that no stiff posing, holding still, or saying cheese keeps the kids and dogs occupied and happy!
