Meet: Kristi + Phil + Cappy + Waylon(coming soon)

I met Kristi around 8 years ago at my old TV station in Dayton. She was a producer, I was a director aka natural enemies. ;) Our relationship did instead start that way, but it certainly did not stay that way for long. We are both perfectionists, we like things orderly and in a very particular way. We soon combined this need for perfection into a power duo. We even won an Emmy together!

Our time together came to an end when I was offered a job here, in Cincinnati. Shortly after I moved to Cincinnati, Kristi was also offered a job in Cincinnati, but at a different TV station. She still lives in Dayton though, and makes the long commute everyday, so I haven’t been able to see her.

During our time at the Dayton TV station, Kristi married her husband Phil. Many of our co-workers began getting married and having babies. Kristi and Phil had been trying to conceive with no success. Her sweet black Lab dog, Cappy, helped to partially fill in the void, as many dogs do.

It’s been nearly 4 years since then, and it has finally happened! There was no question that Cappy, the dog, would be included in the maternity photos, as she will be like a big sister to their soon-to-be baby boy. I am so very honored to be the one Kristi asked to document this much anticipated chapter in their lives and cannot wait to see baby boy, Waylon James, grow! I am over the moon with happiness for Kristi, Phil, and their dog, Cappy (who by the way is a VERY good girl)! Kristi is going to be an amazing momma, as she is nothing short of perfection herself.
