Meet: Sabrina + Aaron + dogs

I have to say this is by FAR, one of my most memorable photography sessions to date. I met up with Sabrina and Aaron at Bender Mountain on the West Side of Cincinnati. It’s a beautiful, fun, and adventurous location that perfectly matched this couple. They brought along their two cattle dogs, Dewey and Cash. As soon as Aaron stepped out of the car I knew we were going to have a good time. He was full of energy, unlike most men I photograph. 

Aaron is an arborist and was jumping around, climbing like it was no big deal, while I hopped over some rocks and was out of breath. Reminder to self: work out more so I can keep up with clients. The golden sun was beating down on us and Sabrina’s beautiful white dress glowed in the evening sun. She has a smile that could stop traffic and a peaceful presence that complemented Aaron perfectly. 

Poor Dewey had been in an altercation with another dog just a few days prior to our session and his wounds were still notable. He was sweet and friendly, nonetheless, but obviously sore. The two pups ran around having a great time. 

Just down the creek-bed, there was a couple eloping. It was beautiful and I knew my fellow photographer, who is always a joy to run into. In the meantime, I was snapping away at Aaron sweeping Sabrina off her feet, literally. We looked over and the two dogs were in rustling through the things the elopement couple had brought. Cash came running with a full cupcake in his mouth! Dewey tagged along and the two enjoyed a nice strawberry cupcake. Uh oh. If that wasn’t enough they ran back and grabbed the other one as well. Luckily, the couple, who the cupcakes belonged to, laughed, and insisted it was okay. We finished up the photography session and as we were saying our goodbyes, Aaron said I have a table coming to me. I was very confused at first, but he builds tables, bars, and more! How awesome is that?! 

So yeah, definitely a memorable session. I really hope to photograph this beautiful and fun couple again in the future! If I get an Aaron original table, I will definitely update this post with a photo for you all to see!
