I am so far behind on blogging and anything to do with social media. With the Christmas rush and taking a few weeks to decompress after, I have been slacking in most aspects of my life. However, with the start of the slow-going winter and the new year, I am committed to catching up. Anyways…

MEET: THE GIBSONS

We found a perfect spot for beautiful fall foliage! Felica, Chris, and their dogs, Riley and Maddie, met me at one of my favorite locations. I was so glad there was foliage left on the trees! This season's foliage peaked sooner than anticipated and Felicia had her heart set on vibrant leaves for their family photography session. I had been driving all over Cincinnati looking for a spot where I wasn’t watching the leaves die before my eyes. Due to other engagements, the Gibsons had to meet earlier than our original time so we missed the beloved “Golden Hour”, nonetheless, I think these images turned out beautifully.

Felica and Chris hadn’t had family photos taken since their wedding– 5 years ago! I see this often with couples and I love helping them from start to finish! I begin by asking them to fill out a questionnaire with all types of questions about them individually, as well as them as a couple. I suggest locations off of the questionnaire and their vision. Couples are then given a style guide, helpful tips for them and their dogs, and more! I want my clients to always have a wonderful experience and not stress about anything! That’s why I’m now offering all my clients access to a personalized styling service! Blog about that coming soon!

I so enjoyed my time with the Gibsons and hope to photograph them again soon!
